Born and raised in Cincinnati. Educated in Indiana at
Earlham College. Many years of experience with at risk
children in Ohio, Indiana, New Hampshire and the Virgin
Islands. Worked in education in Indiana, Mexico, Virgin
Islands.

STAFF
Teachers at the Downtown Academy of Technology and Arts
middle school are certified in the subject areas they teach,
and have skills in one or more visual and/or language arts.
Teachers are selected for their willingness to be part of a
collegial team dedicated to developing a stimulating
learning environment that utilizes technology and school
programs. They are creative and flexible; they provide
individualized instruction, plan cooperative learning
experiences, and create interdisciplinary approaches. Our
support staff consists of several teacher assistants/aides
that assist in classroom management and instruction. Our
Main Office is supervised by an experienced and dedicated
Administrative Manager who oversees all aspects of
enrollment, student records and general office management.
All staff members assist in developing school programs.
