Any student living in the Broward school district may apply to attend in grades Sixth, Seventh, or Eighth. DATA is not designated as a home school in Broward County, and parents are responsible for transporting students to school if bus transportation is not available at the student’s home address. Parents must submit a Pre-Enrollment Form in order to secure a space on our waiting list, and once available space is determined in the grade for which you applied, interviews will be scheduled with the school administration to discuss eligibility requirements, our academic program and expectations. Applications for enrollment are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. Students residing in surrounding school districts may also apply, with the same transferable conditions as other public schools in Broward County. The Downtown Academy of Technology and Arts admits students of any race, religion, color, gender, physical handicap, national or ethnic origins to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities made available at our school.
