Fee Schedule

Downtown Academy of Technology and Arts has designed an Extended Care Program in addition to the academic day.  Our program incorporates after school activities and clubs in addition to an enrichment and tutoring program which includes a variety of academic assistance in reading, language arts, and math.

We believe that our students should have the opportunity for a healthy start, safe places with structures hours, and opportunities to give back through community service.  We believe in structured activities for all students at all times.

In order to institute an effective program, there are certain obligations and requirements that include, but no limited to:

Before Care

Drop-off time:  7:00am to 7:50am at the South Main entrance
Cost: $80.00 per month
Registration Fee: $5.00 with a signed contract

  Breakfast will be served from 7:30 am to 7:55 am

School Hours

8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Drop-off between 7:45 am and 7:50 am at the West Entrance (if not in Before Care)

Pick-up only between 3:00 pm and 3:40 pm

Children not picked up by 3:40 pm will automatically be placed in the After Care program and the parents will be charged the regular daily rate.

After School Clubs

Time:   3:00 pm to 3:40 pm
Registration Fee: No fee except in cases of special activities

             
A list of clubs will be sent home with the student at the beginning of each semester--permission slips must be signed by a parent in order for student to participate.

After Care

Time: 3:40 pm to 6:00 pm
Cost: $150.00 per month
Registration Fee: $10.00 with a signed contract
DAILY RATE: $15.00 per day with no contract
Snacks: Please provide a healthy afternoon snack for your child
Late Fees: $1.00 per minute for pick-ups between 6:00 to 6:30 pm

PLEASE NOTE:

AFTER 6:30 PM POLICE WILL BE CALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH STATE STATUTES

SPECIAL RATE OF $200.00 FOR COMBINED MORNING AND AFTER CARE CONTRACTS WITH A $20.00 REGISTRATION FEE.
